Wolves face a trip to Kenilworth Road to take on Luton town in a game that already feels like something of a six pointer to decide who will spend next season in the Championship.

Gary O’Neil’s goalshy side have looked better than plenty of other sides in the division, but haven’t had either the goals or the points to show for it.

So far, they have managed just five goals so far this season, a tally which has translated into three points and has the Molineux outfit hovering above the drop zone.

Luton are in an even worse position, with the promoted side yet to pick up a point all season and having conceded 10 goals, leaving them bottom of the Premier League.

It means that this clash at the bottom of the table could well be massive for both sides in their early season efforts to avoid the drop zone, with the side that comes away with three points likely to end the weekend clear of the drop zone.

Here’s how we expect Wolves to line up, and the latest team news from Molineux.

Another casualty of that defeat was fullback Rayan Ait-Nouri, but O’Neil is confident that he will be back sooner rather than later.

‘Rayan’s injury was just muscle fatigue, really. I don’t expect him to have any problems. We won’t know until next weekend, but he’ll probably just need a few days to recover’, he explained after the loss to Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Beyond that, however, the midlands outfit will have an almost fully fit squad to call upon for the clash.
