Nottingham Forest head coach Steve Cooper has, on Saturday evening, provided updates on the wellbeing of two members of his squad.
Forest, of course, were back in action earlier this afternoon.
Fresh off booking their spot in the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup at the expense of Wolves, the Reds welcomed Leicester to the City Ground, eyeing a third win in four across all competitions.
And, when all was said and done, this is precisely what Forest went on to secure.
A brace on the part of Man of the Match Brennan Johnson guided the day’s hosts to the right side of a 2-0 final scoreline, and a spot in 13th in the Premier League table.

As alluded to above, though, an otherwise fine day’s work for Nottingham Forest was soured to a considerable degree on Saturday by not one, but two fresh blows on the personnel front.
Speaking on the back of the full-time whistle at the City Ground, it therefore came as little surprise when Steve Cooper was asked for an update on the wellbeing of two key members of his squad.
And Forest’s boss went on to confirm that both Henderson and Yates are facing potential spells on the sidelines, owing to respective muscular concerns:
Injury setbacks mar Forest win. ‘Yeah, with Dean [Henderson] it’s a muscle injury, did not look good but we will have to see in the next 48 hours. Same with [Ryan] Yates, we will have to see. Disappointing for those guys but next man up.’https://t.co/cckOHhGs0b#NFFC
