Premier League giants Liverpool have, on Thursday, been afforded a timely pair of boosts on the personnel front.
Jurgen Klopp’s troops, of course, are currently in the process of preparing for another crunch outing this weekend.
Fresh off a thankless stretch of meetings with all of Real Madrid, Manchester City and Chelsea, the Reds are set to welcome Mikel Arteta’s table-topping Arsenal to Anfield.
The clash, like all of those to come over the remaining weeks of the campaign, marks a pivotal one for Liverpool, who have now slipped a full ten points adrift of the Premier League top-4 pace.

In turn, news of not one, but two key members of Jurgen Klopp’s ranks returning to fitness will no doubt be met with widespread excitement on the part of the Reds’ faithul.
The players in question? Virgil van Dijk and Thiago Alcantara.
Midfielder Thiago, meanwhile, has not taken to the pitch for a full two months now, after picking up a hip flexor injury in training.
As alluded to above, though, both featured in training in Kirkby on Thursday, potentially in line to feature against Arsenal on Sunday as a result.
