Premier League giants Liverpool have, on Friday, been afforded a timely piece of positive news on the personnel front.
This comes amid confirmation that Dominik Szoboszlai has returned to first-team training.
For those who may have missed it, midfielder Szoboszlai set alarm bells ringing on the red half of Merseyside last weekend.
The Hungarian, fresh off a big-money move to Liverpool from RB Leipzig, was forced into a premature departure from training, with what was understood to be an ankle issue.
Szoboszlai, in turn, went on to undergo a round of medical tests, before sitting out his new side’s friendly meeting with Greuther Fürth on Monday.
And though it was assured by multiple sources that the problem was not a serious one, the Liverpool faithful, keen for their side’s headline summer signing to settle into his new surroundings as quickly as possible, continued to express understandable concern across the week to date.
This comes with footage having come to the fore on Friday evening, showcasing Szoboszlai back in training alongside the rest of Jurgen Klopp’s squad.
The 22-year-old is therefore expected to be available to feature in at least some capacity in Liverpool’s friendly clash with Leicester City this coming Sunday.
