Premier League giants Liverpool have, on Thursday, been afforded an altogether timely series of boosts on the personnel front.
The subject of injury woes has, of course, taken its place front and centre in the headlines on the red half of Merseyside to this point in the campaign.
This comes with a whole host of key members of Jurgen Klopp’s squad having been forced into respective spells on the sidelines.
Across the term to date, Liverpool, at one point or another, have been without the services of the likes of Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ibrahima Konate, Andy Robertson, Thiago Alcantara, Arthur Melo, Naby Keita, Diogo Jota, Luis Diaz, Roberto Firmino and Darwin Nunez.

Safe to say, then, that ahead of a crunch Merseyside Derby showdown with Everton next Monday, the Reds were no doubt desperate for some long overdue positive news.
And, as alluded to above, late on Thursday, this is precisely what has been forthcoming.
The players in question? Virgil van Dijk, Arthur Melo, Diogo Jota and Bobby Firmino.
At the very least, Liverpool, in turn, will be hopeful of having one or two of this long sidelined quartet available for selection next time out.
