On-loan Manchester United talent Amad Diallo added ever further to his glowing reputation on Saturday, courtesy of another fine individual goal.
Amad, of course, was farmed out on loan once more last summer, making the move to the Championship to line out for Sunderland.
And his ensuing spell in England’s 2nd tier, after a shaky start, has since proven an altogether positive experience.
All told, across his 3 appearances to date, the Ivorian has directly contributed to a none-too-shabby 14 goals.
The most recent, meanwhile, came tonight, as Sunderland welcomed Birmingham City to the Stadium of Light.
A hard-fought affair ultimately culminated in the Black Cats emerging on the right side of a 2-1 result, to keep their pursuit of a promotion playoff berth very much alive with four games of the season to play.

After Trai Hume cancelled out George Hall’s opener on the stroke of the interval, the former Atalanta talent bagged what proved to be a decisive Sunderland 2nd, fifteen minutes from time.
Picked out in his customary berth on the right flank, Amad left a pair of Birmingham defenders – including fellow Man United loanee Hannibal Mejbri – for dead, before driving a pinpoint finish into the far bottom corner.
