The stellar start to life being enjoyed by a pair of on-loan Arsenal talents in France has continued on Sunday.
First up comes Folarin Balogun.
Faced with the prospect of battling it out with Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah for game-time this season, England youth international Balogun, of course, sealed a move away from north London earlier this month.
The 21-year-old opted to take his talents to France, linking up with Ligue 1 outfit Stade de Reims.
Balogun went on to find the net on his debut last weekend, netting a consolation after being introduced off the bench at Olympique Marseille.
And the positive signs showcased by the Hale End youth product continued this afternoon.
And, in the process, the young attacker made history, becoming the first player to net in each of their first two appearances for Reims since Jacky Perignon all the way back in 1978:
Folarin Balogun scores the penalty to put Reims 2-0 ahead.
He also won the penalty that resulted in their first goal.
He is the first Stade Reims player to score in their first 2 games for the club since Jacky Perignon in July 1978.#afc

As alluded to above, though, Balogun is not the only up-and-coming Arsenal starlet to have made his presence known in France on Sunday.
Also on target in a Ligue 1 outing has been Nuno Tavares.
Another to have been afforded a loan exit owing to the incoming transfer business at the Emirates this summer, left-back Tavares followed a recent Gunners trend, in linking up with Marseille.
Tavares too opened his account in the French top-flight by means of his debut appearance last time out, coincidentally up against Balogun’s Reims.
And he was back on the scoresheet this evening, during a showdown with Stade Brestois.
Before Pierre Lees-Melou levelled things up on the hour-mark amid the ongoing action at the Stade Francis-Le Blé, defender Tavares showcased his goalscoring abilities once again, in putting the finishing touches on a cleverly worked Marseille corner routine:
