The Gunners had a friendly against Nurnberg last week before they kick off their tour of the United States with a game against the MLS All-Stars on July 19. The All-Stars will be coached by current DC United boss Wayne Rooney.
Arsenal will then travel to New York where they will play Manchester United. The Gunners then head to Los Angeles where they will take on Barcelona at SoFi Stadium, the home of owner Stan Kroenke’s LA Rams. Their final warm-up game comes at home against AS Monaco in the Emirates Cup.
Ahead of facing the MLS XI, the Arsenal players took part in a cross and volley challenge in front of a packed stadium. One of the players involved in the show was Kai Havertz. However, the German failed to score a single goal during his turn, becoming the first player in history to do so in the challenge:
Kai Havertz scores ZERO goals in the cross & volley challenge. 🫣

Arsenal splashed £65m on Kai Havertz this summer – a figure many fans baulked at given how underwhelming he has been since his move to the Premier League, and this showing is unlikely to win Havertz any fans.
