Manchester United faced off with West Ham on Sunday evening.
United headed into the game looking to bounce back from a 1-0 loss to Brighton.
However, when all was said and done, Said Benrahma’s 27th minute effort was enough to hand West Ham the win and all but guarantee their Premier League survival.
As for Manchester United, they are now just one point above 5th place Liverpool.
And whilst the Red Devils currently have a game in hand, their recent form suggests a Champions League finish is now seriously under threat.
Speaking post-West Ham, United boss Erik ten Hag discussed missing out on the top-four to Liverpool:
“Nothing changes, we could’ve made it easier with a win but we need three wins in four games. So everything is in our hands and we have to believe.”
