New Chelsea star Christopher Nkunku got off the mark for his new club in the Florida Cup final against Wrexham, in which Mauricio Pochettino got his Blues career off to the perfect start.
The Argentinian took to the dugout for the first time with his new side as they kicked off their tour of the USA against newly famous Wrexham, who are owned by film duo Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mcelhenney.
Chelsea, who finished a miserable 12th place in the Premier League last season, ran out comfortable 5-0 winners over the new football league side, with Ian Maatsen scoring twice amid interest from clubs across the Premier League.
The young left-back kicked off the scoring in the opening minutes before he added a second three minutes before half time.

A much-changed Chelsea side in the second half took some time to get going, but eventually grabbed a third goal to seal the win thanks to Conor Gallagher.
Then, attention turned to Nkunku. Slipped through, the Frenchman rounded the Wrexham shot-stopper before calmly slotting the ball into the empty net, opening his account for the west London side in the process.

As it stands, he looks more likely to be used as the former, with only Nicolas Jackson and Armando Broja alternative options to lead the line, though Chelsea could yet move for another striker after the have plugged the gaps in central midfield and central defence.
