Manchester United’s terrible start to the new season has continued into the physio room as it has emerged that defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka is set to be sidelined for up to two months with injury.
The Red Devils have endured an awful start to the new campaign, with a 3-1 home defeat to Brighton underlining their issues.
It leaves Erik ten Hag’s side with just six points from their opening five games, and these include defeats to Arsenal and Tottenham as well as the Seagulls, all of whom are expected to be challenging for European places alongside the Red Devils this season.
Already seven points outside the top four, they were been booed off the pitch by their home fans against Brighton in a comprehensive defeat.

But their issues aren’t just on the pitch. Antony has been suspended amid claims of sexual assault while Jadon Sancho is training alone after hitting back at comments made by Ten Hag in the wake of defeat to Arsenal.
The injuries are piling up too, with Sofyan Amrabat, Mason Mount and Luke Shaw all sidelined as things stand.
It makes matters even more complicated for Ten Hag, with Diogo Dalot now the only recognised right-back in the side, and the Portuguese defender having been deputising at left-back until the most recent Premier League game.
With Shaw and Tyrell Malacia both absent too, it means that deadline day loanee Sergi Reguilon will be the only option from left-back too, with Dalot now required back in his more natural position.
United face games across three different competitions before the next international break, and no new defenders are expected before that point, meaning that their fullbacks for all six games are likely to now be set in stone.
