Veteran striker Cristiano Ronaldo was left fuming at his own coaching staff as Al-Nassr crashed out of the King cup of Champions at the hands of lowly Al Wehda.
The 38-year-old, who joined Al Nassr in January, has scored 11 times in 14 games since his arrival, but has not found the net in his last three outings, a run which has seen their season effectively end.
Defeat to Al-Wehda, who sit 13th in the Saudi top flight, was enough to end their chances of a trophy this season, with Ronaldo’s side falling to a 1-0 defeat despite playing half an hour against 10 men.
It means that they have now been knocked out of all of the cups, while they also sit second in the Saudi Pro League, three points behind Al-Ittihad, who have a game in hand.
Worse still, they have no manager, with Rudi Garcia having been sacked earlier in the month, and reports suggesting that one of the reasons for the sacking was that ‘Ronaldo doesn’t believe that Garcia is getting the most out of the team’.
It is clear that the spell is not going how Ronaldo imagined, with the Portuguese star left fuming at the staff left behind in the wake of the defeat, as you can see below.

His side face 11th placed Al-Raed on Friday, and need Ronaldo to rediscover his goalscoring form in a bid to chase the current top-flight leaders.
