Premier League giants Arsenal have, on Sunday, confirmed the latest high-profile exit from the club’s first-team squad.
The Gunners star to have moved on? Kieran Tierney.
The name of Scottish international Tierney, of course, has taken its place front and centre in the headlines at Arsenal over the course of the last week.
This comes after word was forthcoming that the former Celtic standout was all set to seal a long-awaited departure from the club.
After slipping ever further down the pecking order at The Emirates under the watch of Mikel Arteta, Tierney agreed to take his talents to Spain, with Real Sociedad.
And, as alluded to above, on Sunday evening, the transfer has been officially announced.
‘Kieran Tierney has joined LaLiga side Real Sociedad on loan for the 2023/24 season. Everyone at Arsenal wishes Kieran all the best this coming season with Real Sociedad.’
All the best this season, Kieran ❤️

Tierney’s move is not understood to feature an option to buy next summer.
Sociedad, meanwhile, will cover the entirety of the full-back’s wage packet for the season ahead.
