Kylian Mbappe is to be reintegrated into the Paris Saint Germain first team immediately after ‘positive talks’ with the French giants, an official statement confirmed.
The Frenchman has been frozen out of the side since he announced that he would not be activating the extension option in his contract this summer, which leaves him a free agent in 2024 as things stand.
He was left out of the club’s pre-season tour and forced to train with the other ‘undesirables’ at the club, which include the likes of Renato Sanches, Georginio Wijnaldum and Julian Draxler.
PSG have also been listening to offers for him too, despite Mbappe’s own desire to spend the next season at the Parc des Princes no matter what, leading to him rejecting a mammoth offer to move to Saudi Arabia this summer.
Now, however, the French side have changed their stance on their star, and are ready to forgive and forget after what they described as ‘constructive’ talks with his camp.
“Following very constructive, positive talks between PSG and Kylian Mbappé before game vs Lorient, the player has been reinstated into first team training squad this morning”, an official statement explained.

New attacking trio Kang In Lee, Marco Asensio and Goncalo Ramos all started Luis Enrique’s first Ligue 1 match in charge, but none could find the cutting edge that is so often provided by Mbappe.
It is still widely expected that the Frenchman will join Real Madrid in 12 months time as a free agent, netting a massive £100m+ signing on bonus in the process. But that was what was expected in 2022 too, and Los Blancos found themselves burnt.
