Paris Saint-Germain head coach Christophe Galtier has, late on Saturday, provided injury updates on two key members of his squad.
For those not aware, PSG were back in action earlier today, making the trip to the Stade Louis II for a highly-anticipated showdown with AS Monaco.
The visitors headed into proceedings in search of a bounce-back result, after being ousted from the French Cup by arch rivals Olympique Marseille during the week.
When all was said and done on Saturday evening, though, PSG’s woes only continued to mount.
This came as youngster Warren Zaïre-Emery’s finish late in the first-half proved to be little more than a consolation, en route to an eventual 3-1 defeat.

In defence of the French champions, their eventual loss at the Stade Louis did come with two of the club’s star performers unavailable for selection.
Speaking to the media post-match, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of the status of the attacking pair was put to Christophe Galtier.
This comes as PSG prepare to welcome German heavyweights Bayern Munich to the Parc des Princes, for the first-leg of the Champions League Last-16 showdown between the two clubs on Tuesday night.
And, in a boost for the Ligue 1 champions, the news on Messi proved altogether positive, with the World Cup winning captain set to return to training over the coming days, ahead of returning to the fray against Bayern.
Mbappe, however, unfortunately looks set to miss out:
“Mbappé in the squad against Bayern Munich? No, I don’t think so. It’s an injury, we don’t want to take the slightest risk,” Galtier confirmed.
