Supporters of French giants Paris Saint-Germain, on Saturday, targeted two of the club’s former stars – Neymar and Lionel Messi – by means of insulting banners.

The subject of departures, of course, has taken its place front and centre in Paris across the summer to date.

This comes after two of PSG’s star front three opted to move on, leaving fellow wantaway Kylian Mbappe behind at the Parc des Princes.

Lionel Messi was first out the door, taking his talents to MLS to link up with Inter Miami.

And Neymar was not long in following suit, joining the wave of stars leaving the European game behind in favour of the riches of Saudi Arabia.

For one particular section of the PSG faithful, though, the exits of two of world football’s most gifted attackers should not be viewed as a negative.

As alluded to above, the PSG Ultras, this evening, unveiled banners, sending direct messages to each of their one-time South American stars.

First, during the capital giants’ Ligue 1 downing of RC Lens, the following message was displayed in the stands:

‘Neymar: Finally rid of the rude’

And this was followed in due course by another banner, on this occasion on another continent!

Ahead of Inter Miami’s upcoming MLS showdown with New York Red Bulls, a separate section of the PSG faithful made their way to DRV PNK Stadium, to this time target Messi with the very same insult:

“Messi: Finally rid of the rude”
