Liverpool transfer target Ryan Gravenberch is said to be ‘enthusiastic’ about a potential move to Anfield this summer as the Reds look to find an alternative to Jude Bellingham.

Jurgen Klopp’s side pulled out of a move for the Borussia Dortmund man after the fee became too steep, with the Englishman set to command over £130m should he move this summer.

And, in looking elsewhere, Gravenberch is a talent that they are keen on.

The midfielder has failed to really nail down a spot in Bavaria following his 20m switch from Ajax 12 months ago.

The 20-year-old has started just once in the Bundesliga, with Julian Nagelsmann and now Thomas Tuchel preferring Leon Goretzka and Joshua Kimmich in his midfield, while the impending arrival of Konrad Laimer is set to push the Dutchman further down the pecking order.

And Sky Sports report that the young talent is ‘enthusiastic over the opportunity to steer his development back on track at Anfield, with Liverpool having made a strong pitch to the player’s camp to sign him from Bayern Munich.’

As per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, however, a move is certainly a possibility.

‘Ryan Gravenberch is not happy with his situation at Bayern. He wants to play but there is not enough space for him in this squad”, he reported via Caught Offside.

“He will have a conversation with Thomas Tuchel towards the end of the season to determine his future.

“This situation is open, Bayern think he’s a top talent and this is why they will fight to keep the player, but Premier League interest is there.”’

The arrival of Gravenberch at Anfield would certainly add some much needed youthful athleticism to the Reds midfielder, and at just £25m or so he could prove a bargain for years to come.
