An insight into the pay packet understood to have been agreed upon by new Arsenal signing Kai Havertz ahead of signing with the club has been provided on Saturday.
The name of German international Havertz has of course taken its place front and centre in the headlines on the red half of north London over the course of the last week.
This comes after long-standing speculation surrounding the future of the Chelsea star was finally put to bed, upon Havertz putting pen to paper on terms with the aforementioned Arsenal.
After a difficult season at Stamford Bridge, the 24-year-old has opted for a new adventure, understandably keen to play a central role in an exciting project under the watch of Mikel Arteta.

If the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, though, then any doubts Havertz may have had regarding the prospect of swapping west London for north are likely to have been quashed by the financial package on offer to him at The Emirates.
As per a report from German outlet Bild, Arsenal’s latest recruit now represents the highest-paid player on the Gunners’ books.
This equates to €385,000-per-week, or £335,000-per-week.
With the former Bayer Leverkusen standout also understood to have set his new club back a sum in the region of £65 million, it is safe to say that the powers that be at Arsenal have full faith in Havertz’s ability to rediscover his brilliant best.
