Arsenal have agreed a deal to sign Leandro Trossard from Brighton for £21m plus add-ons.
Trossard’s agent recently said the 28-year-old forward wanted to leave the Seagulls after falling out with boss Roberto de Zerbi.
Arsenal made the move after missing out to Chelsea on signing winger, Mykhailo Mudryk.
However, given Manchester United await Arsenal on Sunday, fans were no doubt eager to see the deal wrapped up in time for Trossard to play some role this weekend.
And, on Friday afternoon, it has been reported that Trossard was registered before the 12pm deadline and is available to face Manchester United on Sunday.
The Belgian has signed a four-and-a-half-year deal and Arsenal are now awaiting official confirmation from the Premier League that their latest signing can feature vs the Red Devils.
