Liverpool head into the game with very little to play for.
The Reds are second in their Champions League group with 12 points from five games.
Ajax are third with three, so they cannot catch Liverpool. Napoli, meanwhile, occupy top spot with a three-point lead over Liverpool and a seven-better goal difference.
So, unless Liverpool can win by four goals on Tuesday, they will not finish top of the group.

Liverpool team news vs Napoli
Luis Diaz
Luis Diaz was a key figure in Liverpool’s side for much of 2022.
This has left Liverpool’s left-hand side rather thin on the ground, meaning more minutes for Fabio Carvalho seems likely.
Joel Matip
Like Diaz, Matip was injured in the 3-2 loss to Arsenal earlier in October.
Klopp has previously said that he hopes Matip can return for the final few games before the World Cup: “Everything is going well, but he needs a bit of time. I think with him, it will be tight until the World Cup break; hopefully, in the last two or three games, he might be in contention, but I don’t know yet.”
On Monday, Klopp confirmed Matip remains sidelined ahead of Napoli.
Ibrahima Konate
Konate sustained a muscle issue in the 7-1 defeat Rangers, having previously been sidelined for the opening two months of the season.
However, he has returned to full training and was an unused sub in Liverpool’s last two outings. And when speaking on October 31, Klopp confirmed Konate is an option vs Napoli: “It’s very good we have him back. Now is maybe the moment he can play. Trained yesterday normal, so he’s now had a full week, which is very good. He’s an option, for sure.”
Diogo Jota
Diogo Jota was expected to fill in for Diaz on Liverpool’s left flank whilst the South American was out.
However, Jota picked up a calf injury vs Manchester City and will now miss the World Cup.
Klopp said: “He will miss the World Cup. [It’s a] pretty serious injury in the calf muscle and now the recovery process starts. We can say that because he will not be in for a long time; we talk about months.”
Thiago
Thiago missed Liverpool’s 1-0 loss to Nottingham Forest with an ear infection and was out vs Ajax with the same issue.
The midfielder returned and started in the 2-1 defeat to Leeds.
Naby Keita
Naby Keita has not played for Liverpool since the Community Shield defeat of Manchester City at the end of July.
Keita was ill before sustaining a muscle problem.
