The matchup marks Argentina’s first since clinching glory at the Qatar World Cup late last year.
In turn, it should not come as much of a surprise to hear that, prior to proceedings getting underway in Buenos Aires, the festivities proved an absolute sight to behold.
As the Argentine national anthem rang out around the Monumental, fireworks lit up the night sky, before the 80,000-strong crowd in attendance made clear their gratitude for the efforts of Scaloni and co. at the World Cup.
