An insight into the demands laid out by the powers that be at Premier League giants Manchester United to part with attacking star Jadon Sancho has been provided on Thursday evening.
The subject of wide-man Sancho’s future, of course, has taken its place front and centre in the headlines across the week to date.
This comes after brewing tension between the England international and United boss Erik ten Hag finally came to a head last weekend.
After the latter revealed that he had omitted Sancho from his squad to face Arsenal owing to a lack of effort in training, the former Borussia Dortmund standout hit back courtesy of the following statement on social media:

Rumours, in turn, have since inevitably spread, pointing towards a potential Old Trafford exit for Sancho.
With the big-spending Saudi Pro League one of very few with an open transfer window at present, Al Ettifaq have been pushed as a potential landing spot with a view to the season ahead.
In the end, however, an agreement, seemingly, could not be reached.
And, as alluded to above, late on Thursday, an insight into precisely why has been forthcoming online.
The info comes courtesy of Chris Wheeler of the Daily Mail, who has revealed the demands laid out to Al Ettifaq for Sancho’s signature.
It is understood that United opened their doors to an initial loan deal, but only in the case of an obligation to buy being included, for £50 million.
With Al Ettifaq unable to afford such a sum, talks were therefore brought to a close.
