Bayern Munich icon Oliver Kahn has spoken out, after being sent packing by the Bavarian giants late on Saturday.
For those who may have missed it, major changes have been confirmed at German football’s biggest club this evening.
Thomas Tuchel’s troops marked their return to action a short time ago, in the knowledge that something of a final day miracle was required for the club to extend their Bundesliga title run to 11 straight seasons.
When all was said and done, though, a Bayern miracle is precisely what came to pass.
Owing to Borussia Dortmund’s two dropped points at home to Mainz, the reigning champions’ 2-1 downing of Koln proved enough to guide Tuchel and co. back clear of their arch rivals to the summit of the table, and, in turn, to the title.
For two of those long central to operations behind the scenes at the Allianz Arena, however, the club’s latest triumph proved bittersweet.

Not only that, but, drawn on the situation by the media a short time ago, club icon Kahn revealed that he was ‘forbidden’ from making the trip to Koln, to join Tuchel’s squad for their title celebrations:
