Valencia star Yunus Musah has, on Friday, provided an insight into his current stance on making the move back to England, with Arsenal.

For those not aware, Musah is a 19-year-old midfielder, long regarded as one of the finest young talents in Spain.

The starlet, despite his tender years, has already racked up a hefty 70 La Liga appearances, to go along with 19 caps at senior level for the United States.

Boasting technique, ability in the tackle and impressive dribbling technique, it is not hard to see why Musah is held in such high regard across the global landscape.

In turn, it may come as something of a surprise to some of those of an Arsenal persuasion to hear of the fact that Musah’s early-career development actually took place at Hale End.

The New York native spent seven years on the books of the Gunners after making the move to north London in 2012, before ultimately departing for Valencia in search of regular first-team football.

Musah himself, though, evidently still has a place for Arsenal in his heart.

As much was made evident earlier today, upon the midfield prodigy being drawn on the chances of him making the move back to the Emirates at some point down the line.

During an interview with James Benge of CBS Sports, Musah admitted that the door remains open to as much, in explaining:

“You never know. I had a great time at Arsenal developing there, I still have friends there, the coaches were great, being an Arsenal player in general is great. I loved playing for Arsenal. I’ve nothing against the club and if one day it turns out to be that it’s time to go back then it’s possible.

The American, though, was also keen to clarify that:

“For now I’m really happy at Valencia and I’m looking forward to carrying this season on in the same way we’re doing now.”
