Following the 1-0 loss against Arsenal, Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag claims that persistent injuries are the primary cause of the club’s shaky and disappointing season. The Arsenal game marks the Red Devils’ ninth loss at Old Trafford this season, and they have now conceded 82 goals across all competitions.
When asked about the match, Arsenal great Paul Merson said, “Arsenal will never have an easier game than that, to be honest.”
In an interview with Sky Sports, Ten Hag said, “The injuries. Also some issues, but mainly the injuries hold us back in the process.
