Bournemouth’s Lloyd Kelly is reportedly undergoing a medical at Newcastle ahead of a free transfer to St James’ Park.
Defender Kelly is set to sign a five-year contract with the Magpies, according to Sky Sports.
The 25-year-old’s Bournemouth contract expires June 30 and will arrive on Tyneside as a free agent after undergoing the first part of the medical in London on Wednesday.
He is set to be reuinited with manager Eddie Howe, who was in charge of the Cherries when Kelly arrived from Bristol City for £13million in 2019.
Kelly has since made 141 appearances for the South Coast club and was a key man in the Premier League under Andoni Iraola last season.

Newcastle are under financial pressure due to profit and sustainability regulations so the free signing looks to be a shrewed piece of business by the Geordies.
A former England Under-21 international, he can operate as both a left-sided centre-back and a left-back.
The Toon turned to Kelly after missing out on Fulham’s Tosin Adarabioyo, who has opted to join Chelsea instead.
