With Copa America 2024 taking place alongside Euro 2024 this summer, there is plenty to keep an eye on for your average football fan.
On top of that, the two tournaments will provide plenty of opportunities to take on the bookies and Group B of the Copa America has plenty that might take your fancy.
Mexico, Ecuador, Venezuela and Jamaica will face off in the United States in the only group that does not have a former winner of the tournament in it.
The hosts’ southern border country Mexico are being tipped to top the group, but they have not made the final of Copa America since 2001.
Ecuador are almost always involved in the tournament but are yet to win it. Their best result is a fourth-placed finish, however, they are considered the most likely to go through alongside Mexico.
Jamaica are on the hunt to cause a few upsets on their return to the tournament for the first time since 2016.
It is perhaps their most exciting crop of players and they will be hoping to stand out in a tournament that the nation have been notoriously bad at.
Venezuela have never qualified for the World Cup, but they are making their 20th Copa America appearance.
14 of their last 19 appearances have ended in a group stage exit, but there is quiet optimism that this time will be different.

Predictions, Bets, Odds
The odds listed below were provided by bet365 and were correct at the time of publication. However, they are subject to change.
Jamaica to qualify @ 5/1 with bet365
Venezuela to qualify @ 13/8 with bet365
Ecuador to finish bottom of Group B @ 13/2
As expected, there is a lot of value in Group B.
We previously mentioned that Mexico are favourites, but they will need to deploy full concentration to avoid any unnecessary slip-ups.
You can get them not to qualify at 10/3 and to finish bottom of the group at 9/1.
Should one of the other three teams get off to a blistering start at Copa America 2024, any of them to top the group would be a good value bet.
Jamaica and Venezuela are 9/1 and 11/2 respectively, while Ecuador are 8/5.

Group Preview
Both Mexico and Jamaica are back playing in South America’s biggest tournament for the first time in eight years, while Ecuador have been present at every event since 1975.
Venezuela have a reputation as the continent’s whipping boys but having been paired with three other nations who have never had great success in the competition, anything is possible.
Ecuador, or ‘La Tri’ have always struggled to perform in big tournaments and despite getting off to a winning start at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, exited the group stages.
However, they have a new manager in Felix Sanchez Bas who has made Ecuador much harder to beat.
They are unbeaten in five of their six 2026 World Cup qualifying matches.
Jamaica’s frontline will be led by West Ham striker Michail Antonio and the Reggae Boyz have a squad filled with potential at Heimir Hallgrimsson’s disposal.
Another man to watch out for is Aston Villa’s Leon Bailey.
He enjoyed a prolific Premier League campaign and will join forces with Fulham’s Bobby Decordova-Reid on the flanks to help the team challenge in Group B.
They have not lost any of their four matches in 2024 and picked up a memorable 1-1 draw against the United States.
Mexico won the most recent Gold Cup and will be motivated to give a good account of themselves this summer.
Raul Jimenez and Santiago Gimenez have an abundance of attacking talent and will pose a big problem for the other Group B competitors.
Venezuela will want to shake off their whipping boys tag and having started their 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign well, they will be confident of doing something special at Copa America.
