Austria and Turkey face off in Leipzig this evening with the final quarter-final place at Euro 2024 up for grabs.

Team News

Austria boss Ralf Rangnick has made four changes to the side that beat the Netherlands in their final group game.

Konrad Laimer replaces the suspended Patrick Wimmer, with Kevin Danso, Philipp Mwene and Christoph Baumgartner also coming into the XI.

Danso partners Philipp Leinhart at the back, with Mwene selected at left-back and Laimer and Baumgartner operating in midfield.

Former West Ham and Stoke man Marko Arnautovic keeps his place up front.

Turkey are without suspended captain Hakan Calhanoglu for their game following his yellow card in a goalscoring performance against Czech Republic.

Orkun Kokcu replaces the Inter Milan ace, but they do welcome back Abdulkerim Bardakci to the heart of defence after serving a suspension of his own.

Kaan Ayha is chosen ahead of Ozkan Salih in midfield in Turkey’s only other chance, with Real Madrid starlet Arda Guler leading the attack once again.

Confirmed line-ups

Austria starting XI: Pentz, Posch, Danso, Lienhart, Mwene, Seiwald, Sabitzer, Laimer, Baumgartner, Schmid, Arnautovic

Turkey starting XI: Gunok, Muldur, Bardakci, Demiral, Bardakci, Ayhan, Yuksek, Yildiz, Yilmaz, Kokcu, Guler
