Bayern Munich head coach Vincent Kompany says Harry Kane will miss the reunion with Tottenham in Asia.
The England captain is still enjoying some well-deserved time off following his exploits at Euro 2024 this summer, despite failing to win a trophy yet again.
Kane left Spurs for the Bundesliga giants last year and scored 44 goals in all competitions for Bayern in 2023-24.
And he was set to meet with some familiar faces in South Korea on August 3, but will not be making an appearance.
Kompany said: “Harry Kane, Alphonso Davies, Dayot Upamecano and Kingsley Coman won’t be there, but then hopefully for the first cup game.”
Kane will be working under a new manager this season having originally been signed by Thomas Tuchel.

Kompany made the leap from Burnley to Bayern despite being relegated from the Premier League.
His attacking brand of football did not succeed in England, but with world-class players at his disposal in Germany, he will be aiming to get back on top.
Bayer Leverkusen won the title last term, but Kane will be more determined than ever to end his trophyless run.
He may even return for the latter stages of Bayern’s pre-season tour that will see them travel to the Tottenham Hotspur stadium on 10 August.
Should that be the case, he will return to the ground where he has legendary status.
Kane is Spurs’ all-time record goalscorer and will likely get a good reception if he does return to North London.
