Arsenal have completed the signing of Italy defender Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna for a reported £42million.
The 22-year-old, who started three of Italy’s four Euro 2024 games, has signed a five-year deal with the Gunners.
Calafiori has immediately joined up with his team-mates on their pre-season tour of the United States.
He can operate as both a centre-back and left-back.
The five-cap international made 30 appearances for Bologna last season, scoring two goals and providing five assists as qualified for the Champions League by finishing fifth in Serie A.
