Chelsea will play either Braga or Servette in their Europa Conference League play-off this month.

The Blues must qualify for the group stages and will play the first leg at Stamford Bridge on 22 August.

But they must wait to see if they will be travelling to either Portugal or Switzerland for the return fixture.

Chelsea finished sixth in the Premier League to initially qualify for the Europa League alongside Tottenham, but were denied a place when Manchester United beat rivals Manchester City in the FA Cup final.

Potential opponents Braga came fourth in the Portuguese top flight last term and will be looking to beat the Swiss league’s third-placed sidfe Servette.

Elsewhere, Rangers could face either Red Bull Salzburg or FC Twente for a Champions League spot.

The Scottish side will face the winner of the match if they can overcome Dynamo Kyiv in their play-0ff.

They avoided a clash with Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce, who will face Slavia Prague or Belgian side Union Saint-Gilloise.
