Cristiano Ronaldo says he has no plans to retire from international football just yet.
The 39-year-old is in Portugal’s squad to face Croatia and Scotland in the upcoming Nations League matches.
Ronaldo’s current tally is 130 goals in 212 games for his country and will be looking to add more before he eventually hangs up his boots.
And while international retirement is not imminent, the Al-Nassr striker says it will not be a difficult decision to make when the time comes.
He said: “When the time comes, I’ll move on.
“It won’t be a difficult decision to make.

“If I feel like I’m no longer contributing anything, I’ll be the first to leave.
“I don’t know if I will retire soon, in two or three years, but probably I will retire here at Al-Nassr.
“When I leave the national team, I won’t tell anyone in advance and it will be a very spontaneous decision on my part, but also a very well thought-out one.”
Ronaldo and Portugal team-mate Pepe were the two oldest players at Euro 2024.
It remains to be seen whether the Manchester United and Real Madrid legend will stick around to play at the 2026 World Cup.
