Manchester United and Tottenham clash at Old Trafford in the Premier League’s showpiece this weekend.

Both teams were in European action during midweek, with the hosts drawing 1-1 to FC Twente and the visitors beating Qarabag 3-0.

And with an extra 24 hours of recovery time, Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag will fancy his side to record a statement win against a top-four rival in front of an expectant home crowd.

But Ange Postecoglou’s men will stick to their philosophy and go for the throat, even if they are without their captain.

Read on to discover how both teams line-up at the Theatre of Dreams.

Manchester United team news

United fans might see this as a must-win game if Ten Hag is going to remain secure in his job.

And the Dutchman has gone for an attacking line-up.

Andre Onana is in goal as usual, with Noussair Mazraoui, Matthijs de Ligt, Lisandro Martinez and Diogo Dalot making up the backline.

Manuel Ugarte gets his first start in midfield in the top flight, he pairs up with Kobbie Mainoo.

Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho occupy the wings, with Bruno Fernandes in his usual attacking position.

And Joshua Zirkzee will lead the line for the Red Devils.

Tottenham team news

The big news out of Tottenham is that captain Heung-Min Son misses out with a hamstring injury picked up in midweek.

But the usual backline of Guglielmo Vicario, Pedro Porro, Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven and Destiny Udogie start.

Rodrigo Bentancur comes back in to the starting XI ahead of Yves Bissouma, with James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski playing as two attacking midfielders.

Brennan Johnson starts on the left, with Timo Werner the man chosen to replace Son on the right.

Dominic Solanke, who has two goals in his last two games, starts up front.
