Virgil van Dijk is suspended for the Netherlands as they travel to take on neighbours and rivals Germany in Munich.

The Liverpool defender was sent-off against Hungary so Tottenham defender Micky van de Ven partners captain Stefan de Vrij.

Germany’s attack features new boys Jamie Leweling and Tim Kleindienst.

Germany line-up

Denis Undav scored twice for Germany last week but he is on the bench as Kleindienst of Borussia Monchengladbach is given a chance up front.

It’s a debut for Stuttgart winger Leweling, with Serge Gnabry offering the experience on the other flank.

The sides drew 2-2 when they met in Amsterdam last month.

Netherlands line-up

Van Dijk may be absent but Liverpool do have a representative as Cody Gakpo starts on the left for Ronald Koeman’s side.

Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee is on the bench with Brian Brobbey preferred through the middle.
