Tottenham have the chance to put Thursday night’s dismal performance against Bournemouth behind them and gain a morale-boosting win against rivals Chelsea this afternoon.
Ange Postecoglou received what he described as “feedback” from the travelling fans at the Vitality Stadium with several Spurs supporters hurling abuse at the Australian and the players after the 1-0 defeat.
A win over Chelsea would calm the situation but another defeat would only increase the noise around the manager’s position.
Chelsea come into the game looking the more settled club which is testament to the job Enzo Maresca has done.
Maresca’s side thumped Southampton 5-1 in midweek and sit second in the Premier League table, seven points behind leaders Liverpool.
