Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta says he is delighted with how his team is adapting to a tough schedule in 2024-25.
The Gunners have not been at their best across the entire campaign, with a few wobbles coming in recent weeks.
Most recently the North London club drew to Fulham, failing to capitalise on a chance to close the gap to Liverpool at the top of the Premier League after their game against Everton was called off.
But Arteta was unable to remain focused on what could have been, with Arsenal set for a tricky Champions League clash just three days later against Monaco.
He believes his team are adapting well to the challenges of the current campaign and most importantly he is happy with how they are playing.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, he said: “We want to create more from every angle and from set-pieces as well we could have created more, we should have scored another one or two.
“We are always trying to evolve and be better.

“We have to do a lot of the things we do in the Premier League. The tendency is to always look at the Champions League like something else.
“We face incredibly difficult opposition every week and that’s the good thing – when we come up against a really good team like Monaco, we are so used to it because we play every three days against this kind of opposition.
“The Champions League is different in certain ways but there are also similarities in the way we have to compete.
“I’m really happy with the way we are playing and the good thing is, it is not conditioning the team in a way that we have to become a different team.
“I am very pleased with the way the team are adapting and the way players are making an effort to play in different positions. Hopefully the ideal situation will come up soon and we can do what we want.”
A win against their French opposition will take Arsenal as high as third with only a few matches left to play in the new league phase.
