Brighton host Crystal Palace in the Premier League in a clash between two side currently experiencing contrasting fortunes this term.

The home side are enjoying a strong first-half of the season under manager Fabian Hurzeler. They currently sit seventh in the table and remain unbeaten at the Amex Stadium in the league this campaign.

Palace, meanwhile, are in 17th, just one point above the drop zone.

But Oliver Glasner’s side will be buoyed by a recent run that has seen them go four league games without defeat, including a 2-2 draw with champions Manchester City last weekend.

The so-called ‘M23 derby’ – named as such due to the intense rivalry between the teams despite being 43-miles apart and in different counties – promises to another intriguing affair.

Here are how the two teams line-up for the game on the south coast:

Brighton team news:

The hosts will be without in-form front man Danny Welbeck for this afternoon’s clash.

Joao Pedro therefore leads the line for Brighton, supported by Yankuba Minteh, Kaoru Mitoma and Georginio Rutter.

Crystal Palace team news:

Glasner names an unchanged Palace team from the one that drew with Manchester City last weekend.

A place in the starting line-up for Will Hughes means the midfielder will make his 100th appearance for the club.
