Arsenal have received a much-needed lift as Bukayo Saka has resumed light training following his hamstring injury.
The 23-year-old winger has been sidelined since late December, when he sustained the injury during a match against Crystal Palace.
The setback required surgery, and while manager Mikel Arteta was eager to strengthen his attacking options in January, the club was unable to secure reinforcements.
Saka has since travelled with the squad to Dubai for a mid-season training camp and was spotted on Monday participating in gym drills as he works towards regaining full fitness.
The England international is on track to make his return in March, a crucial period for Arsenal as they push forward in both the Premier League title race and the Champions League.
Taking advantage of an 11-day break in their schedule, Arsenal will face Leicester City on Saturday as they look to narrow the gap on league leaders Liverpool.

In further positive news for the squad, defender Ben White is also nearing a comeback after a knee injury that has kept him out of action since November.
And with it looking likely that Gabriel Martinelli will miss an extended period after going off with an injury against Newcastle last week, Saka’s return could not come quick enough.
