Fifth-placed Manchester City return to Premier League action on Saturday (15:00 GMT) at home to a Newcastle side only below them on goals scored.

Newcastle won 3-2 at third-tier leaders Birmingham City last Saturday, while City suffered a late 3-2 defeat at home to Real Madrid in the play-offs for the Champions League round of 16 on Tuesday.
