Bramall Lane

Leeds United seem destined to return to the Premier League at the second time of asking.

Daniel Farke’s side missed out last year – losing to Southampton in the Championship playoff final – but have built up a head of steam at the top of the table over recent weeks.

Tonight, they visit Sheffield United for a Yorkshire derby and a clash between the teams sitting first and second.

Leeds’ win over fellow high-flyers Sunderland – courtesy of Pascal Struijk’s last-gasp header – felt significant and the wild celebrations that accompanied the final whistle at Elland Road were an indication the home fans felt similar.

Unbeaten in the league since the end of November, the Whites have won six of their last seven and are developing an air of invincibility about them.

If there is one team that have the potential to stop them, however, it is Sheffield United.

The Blades are two points behind Leeds and a win tonight would see them climb to the summit with 12 games to go.

Chris Wilder’s men have also been racking up the wins but the performances have been unconvincing.

Of their last four victories, only the 3-1 defeat of Middlesbrough could be classed as deserved and via an impressive display.

And while winning when not playing well is a classic characteristic of promotion-winning teams, we don’t think Sheffield United will have enough to get the job done against Leeds tonight.

We’re going for an away win.

Double up with Porto

If you want to double up, there are a few options.

Roma to beat Monza looks a certainty given their form under Claudio Ranieri while Sevilla have sneaky value to see off Real Mallorca.

But we’re going to go with Porto to beat Vitoria Guimaraes.

Porto need a win to maintain an interest in the title race and capitalise on Sporting CP’s slip up against AVS over the weekend.

Guimaraes have not won away from home in the league since September and ought to find the going tough tonight.

Using bet365’s bet builder tool, we are going for (all prices correct at 0900 on February 24):

Leeds and Porto both to win at 2.23/1
