Leipzig will be confident of recording another win against a Hertha side who are battling for survival.

Domenico Tedesco’s team are in desperate need of a win as they chase the top four.

Match preview: Hertha BSC vs RB Leipzig

Hertha are running the risk of dropping into the bottom three.

Tayfun Korkut’s side are just a point above 16th place.

They are also now winless in their last five matches.

Last weekend, they were beaten by the Bundesliga’s bottom club Furth.

Leipzig drop out of top four

Leipzig need to win on Sunday to return back into the top four.

Three clubs overtook them on Saturday as they all claimed wins.

Tedesco’s side are now down in 7th place.

During midweek, Leipzig held Real Sociedad to a 2-2 draw in the Europa League.

Hertha BSC team news

Dedryck Boyata continues to remain sidelined with an ankle injury.

He is joined by Niklas Stark, Suat Serdar, Marton Dardai and Rune Jarstein in missing out.

RB Leipzig team news

Willi Orban and Marcel Halstenberg are both major doubts for Sunday’s clash.

Angelino could also miss out due to illness.
