Match preview
Bochum will be eyeing up a spot in the safe spots of the Bundesliga this weekend with Thomas Letsch’s men set to head on the road to meet with Werder Bremen at the WESERSTADION.
Despite many positives to take from the few games since the World Cup, Bremen remain in the bottom half of the table and behind Borussia Monchengladbach in eighth by three points.
Bremen have now only won eight games and lost 10 as well, with them also letting in the most goals for those outside of the bottom three (41).
Bremen were beaten by Eintracht Frankfurt last weekend and by losing to Borussia Dortmund the week prior, it means the club have only beaten Wolfsburg and Stuttgart since the winter break.
As for Bochum, they will have on eye on the match between Schalke and Stuttgart this weekend, as they aim to move off 16th and into the safe spots of the Bundesliga. They do, however, still sit with just 19 points and a terrible goals difference.
Bochum are also on a three-game losing run since defeating Hoffenheim 5-2 at the start of the month.
