Match preview
San Siro is set to act as the venue on Wednesday night, as two sides with sights set firmly on a spot in the knockout rounds of the Champions League prepare to lock horns in Group E.
The clash in question will see Italian champions AC Milan play host to their Austrian equivalents, in Red Bull Salzburg.
As things stand in the Group E table, it is the former who boast the advantage, in 2nd spot.
This comes with Milan having enjoyed an altogether hit-and-miss European campaign to date, on their way to two wins, two defeats and one draw.
This result means that, with one round of games to play, Stefano Pioli’s men are in the driver’s seat to book their place in the Champions League’s knockout rounds, alongside group winners Chelsea.

Upcoming opponents Salzburg, though, will make the trip to Lombardy absolutely intent on spoiling the Diavolo party.
The Austrian outfit currently sit just a point adrift of Milan, having managed draws in three of their five outings thus far.
One of these came against their soon-to-be hosts, back on matchday one.
On that occasion, a hard-fought 90 minutes during which the visitors dominated the ball, but largely struggled to carve out clear-cut chances, culminated in goals on the part of Noah Okafor and Alexis Saelemaekers cancelling one another out en route to a 1-1 stalemate.
In turn, ahead of what is no doubt set to prove a tense night at San Siro, Salzburg are aware that a slender victory is not at all out of the question.
And such a result would prove a historic one, in guiding Matthias Jaissle and co. through to the Last-16 at the expense of a club who have tasted glory on European football’s grandest stage no fewer than seven times.
Milan’s surprise defeat at the hands of Torino at the weekend, meanwhile, will only provide the visitors with even more confidence that a shock could be on the cards.
We at 101, though, are backing the hosts to ultimately do enough to get the job done at San Siro on Wednesday night.
