However, the performance of Thomas Tuchel’s side left a lot to be desired.

In the Champions League, the west Londoners fell apart in Russia to draw 3-3 and slip out of 1st place.

Lille’s poor domestic form
Following their stunning title win last season, a new look Lille side is struggling to replicate such form this term.
Lille are currently sat 11th in Ligue 1 and have won just twice in their last five matches.
Jocelyn Gourvennec’s side did however top their Champions League group finishing above RB Salzburg, Sevilla and Wolfsburg.
The French champions won all of their final three games to finish top of Group G.

Cesar Azpilicueta is a major doubt for Tuesday’s clash with a minor knock.
Mason Mount also remains sidelined with an ankle injury.
Ben Chilwell, Reece James and Callum Hudson-Odoi are all also unavailable.

Angel Gomes is set to miss Tuesday’s match.
The forward was forced off with an injury against Metz on the weekend.
