Lille face a tough task in getting back into the tie as they trail Chelsea 2-0 on aggregate.

The French side will feel aggrieved not to have scored at least once at Stamford Bridge having had 15 attempts.

Jocelyn Gourvennec’s side are enjoying a strong run of form in Ligue 1 as they are unbeaten in five matches.

Following a slow start to their domestic campaign, they are now up into 6th in the table.

The defending French champions are now just six points off a European spot.

Chelsea win in uncertain times

Following the shock news involving their owner Roman Abramovic having the club seized from him, Chelsea have managed to block out the noise, winning back to back matches.

The Blues have defeated Norwich and Newcastle as they look set to wrap up a top-four finish.

They now travel to Lille looking to defend their 2-0 lead over the French champions.
