Will Apollon Limassol’s first European Cup match for 16 years be an occasion to remember?

Last season, they were crowned Cypriot champions for just the fourth time, winning the league for the first time since 2006.

Thus, the side who’ve featured in four Europa League group phases are just two wins away from their first-ever Champions League qualification.

Maccabi Haifa meanwhile began their European adventure in the second qualifying round, causing a massive upset.
