Match preview: Manchester City vs Atletico Madrid
Manchester City remain fighting on three fronts in the league, FA Cup and the Champions League.
City returned to the top of the table with a comfortable 2-0 win over Burnley.
They are now one point ahead of Liverpool ahead of a massive fortnight for the club.
After their first-leg against Atletico, they face Liverpool in the league before the second-leg and then an FA Cup semi-final against the Reds.
Guardiola’s men cruised past Sporting Lisbon in the Round of 16 as they won the tie 5-1.

Atletico Madrid back in form
Atletico Madrid are starting to come back into form having won seven of their last eight matches in all competitions.
Atleti eliminated Manchester United in the last round as they won 1-0 at Old Trafford.
Renan Lodi scored the only goal of the game to send the Spanish champions into the Round of 16.
In La Liga, they are back up into 4th place following six straight wins.
They defeated Deportivo Alavés 4-1 on the weekend and head into Tuesday’s tie in full confidence.

Ruben Dias is Manchester City’s only injury concern for the match.
The defender is set to miss the next two weeks with a thigh injury.
City could also bring back in the likes of Mahrez, Silva and Stones who were all rested at Burnley.
Atletico Madrid team news
Yannick Carrasco will be missing the first-leg as he misses the final game of a three-match ban.
