Real Madrid eliminate reigning Euro champs
Real Madrid knocked out the reigning European champions Chelsea to reach the semi-finals.
Los Blancos just about got past Tuchel’s side despite losing 3-2 on the night in the second-leg.
The Blues gave Real a serious game at the Bernabeu but the quality of Benzema proved to be the difference.
The Frenchman once again scored in extra-time to see Carlo Ancelotti’s men through.
Madrid also took a step closer to securing La Liga they defeated Osasuna 3-1 to open up a 15 point lead at the top.
