Match preview
The league leaders and champions of Germany and France will meet in the Champions League this Tuesday evening as Paris Saint-Germain welcomes Bayern Munich to the French capital in arguably the tie of the rounds across Europe.
Despite still sitting top of the table, PSG are coming into this one in their worst form of the season and with Kylian Mbappe set to miss the game with doubts surrounding the fitness of Lionel Messi.
It no doubt hands the advantage to Bayern, but they themselves come into this one off the back of winning just three of their six games since the end of the World Cup. Nevertheless, they are on a three-game winning run ahead of this game.
This run has seen the German champions smash Mainz 4-0 in the DFB-Pokal before another four goals in a 4-2 win over Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga. They also beat Bochum last weekend, with goals from Kingsley Coman, Thomas Muller and Serge Gnabry.
PSG lost 2-1 to Marseille last Wednesday in the French Cup round of 16 and they were demolished by three first half goals in a 3-1 loss to Monaco back in the league last weekend.
It now makes this one an almighty encounter in Paris.
