Match preview: AFC Bournemouth vs Reading

Bournemouth secured a crucial win on the weekend as they moved back into 2nd place.

The Cherries defeated Derby 2-0 at the Vitality Stadium.

Scott Parker’s side now have firm control over the final automatic promotion spot.

They are two points above Huddersfield and have three games in hand.

Reading suffer three straight defeats

Three straight defeats for Reading leaves them on the verge of being pulled into the bottom three.

Paul Ince’s side are now just four points above the relegation zone.

The Royals suffered another loss on the weekend as they were beaten 4-0 by Nottingham Forrest.

Both Derby and Barnsley are waiting to pounce on any more mistakes.
